Today was spent relaxing all day. The kids slept in until 6:30 am and then we sat around and did nothing all day. What a way to spend the day. It was not until four o'clock that we got dressed. It is a fabulous thing to do NOTHING!
As much as I say we did nothing. We did clean and play with the kids. That probably has to be the most important thing anyways.
Now I am about to try and focus on school work. We try and take Friday night off from school work, so I need to catch up. I am working on my Salvation Army history paper. I find it amazing how growing up in the Salvation Army, being a corps cadet and a leader, I did not know some of the History that I should have known. I learned a lot in this course and must admit that it would have been more beneficial prior to coming to college. It has stirred some great discussions amongst some of us, and it has lead to some debates and also placed a challenge on us.
So as my children are snug and cozy in their beds, dreaming away, I will begin my writings on the Influences that Catherine Booth had on the early women officers. Sounds exciting! I am looking forward to seeing what comes out of it.
Congratulations Selby, Kristian and Chloe... I wish I was there to see your new addition. She must be beautiful just like her big Sister. Miss you guys and maybe we will see you this summer. That is if we are close to Alberta. Who knows where we will be! Many Blessings and prayers to you all.
